The House passed a bill last Thursday requiring that TikTok parent company ByteDance divest from the wildly popular video-sharing app, or face a ban (whatever that means). 1

The Senate is now deciding how or whether to take up the bill, which is almost sure to die a slow “death by committee”, which is what I posted yesterday to TikTok.
